The way people maintain or lead their lives is a part of their Lifestyle. Leading a healthy Lifestyle is very simple and can go a long way in making our lives lot happier and cheerful. Some of the easiest ways of developing a proper Lifestyle is to stick to a routine in every aspect of daily lives starting from getting up in morning till going to bed at night.
Waking up early in the morning is the ideal way of starting the day. The breakfast should not be skipped, as it is considered the most important meal of the day. It should be a balanced diet consisting of carbohydrates as well as proteins. Skipping the breakfast leads to fat accumulation within the body thus more calories get stored as a result lethargy sets in for the entire day.
A healthy Lifestyle need not necessarily mean to exclude some kind of foods but instead means unhealthy foods containing trans fats such as pastries and cookies, cakes, potato chips and other such deep fried snacks should
be avoided or consumed in moderation. A healthy alternative is to switch to foods that contain fiber and have unsaturated fats such omega –3 oils as in salmons, olive oil, legumes, almonds etc.
The water intake should never be compromised as lots of processes carried in our body need water for their proper functioning.
The normal requirement of average human being in a day is 2-3litres or 8-10 glasses of water. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks should be avoided since they can be a cause for dehydration.
Proper sleep and exercise is an essential element of any healthy Lifestyle. Without rest the body cannot function to its potential and exercises help in building stamina and staying fit.
Lifestyle needs of different people can be varied as all have different needs according to their age, sex, height but still they all have a common aspect which is to lead a healthy life.
